Fishing schedule
These are some detailed information about Sport Fishing, boat ride times, and departures from the most popular hotels and locations in Guanacaste.
– Full day fishing. This tour consists of 8 hours fishing. Pick up time is at 7:30am, until 3:30pm.
On a Deep sea Fishing, we will have a boat ride like 1 hour to get the 200ft, in Offshore water, our goal is sailfish and marlin, but there are others types of fish like; Mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
– 3/4 day fishing. This fishing charter is for 3/4-day= 6 hours, it can be Deep sea fishing or Inshore fishing, whatever you want, it will depend on what you want to catch, but the options are almost the same than a full day deep sea fishing charter but with shorter time. Pick up time is from 7:30 am, till 1:30 pm.
– Half day fishing. This Fishing Charter is a half-day, from 7:30 a.m, until noon, with around 20 minutes boat ride to get the first fishing spot; we focus on the Roosterfish, but there will be many other options for inshore fishing in Papagayo that can be caught during half day as, bottom fishing for Cubera snapper and amberjack with jig; trolling for mahimahi and yellowfin tuna.
Afternoon fishing charter is another option if you want to fish and is not possible to do it in the morning, we can pick you up at your hotel beach at 1:00pm, or, earlier when is possible. The snorkeling equipment also includes onboard in case you want to stop at a nice beach in Guanacaste for swimming.

What the fishing charters include?
Our boats are equipped with life jackets, VHF radio, and GPS. Our experienced Captain and Crew will assist you during the tour and cater to your needs. We also include a cooler with fruit, soft drinks, cold beer, snacks, as well as fishing rods, bait, lures, plus a mate to assist you in catching, releasing, or cleaning your fish.
