Fly Fishing
Fly Fishing is another technique used on the boats for many anglers on Papagayo Fishing, this technique can be done in shallow water, and catch; Big eye jack, magi-magi, rooster fish, and many other inshore species.
We don’t have a specific season for fly fishing Guanacaste, you can practice all year round, but some months like April until December have better weather conditions due it is rainy season.
This fishing is a challenge in Offshore search of sailfish, since the weather conditions in open water usually are bad and cold during the months of January to late April in the Gulf of Papagayo, conventional fishing reels are what normally do in these months; but for sure; the effort is worth it.
